Painting Miami Ad School Orangeby Jen
The winter quarter at Miami Ad School has begun, and we're thrilled to announce that not one... not two... but THREE of us Carrots have joined the teaching staff in the school's Brooklyn studio, located just a few blocks from Carrot HQ.
Kaitlin Villanova, our Director of Client Services, will be teaching the Self-Promotion class. In POP 541, Kaitlin will help prepare MAS students for the job market after graduation by helping them define their career vision and envisioning their professional path. Her class will also focus on students using social media to rub elbows with the right people and provide them with the confidence and guidance to ensure they say the right thing when those opportunities arise.
Creative Director Billy Custer and Strategist Jen Rubio (that's me) are each taking on the POP 531 class—Social Media. This is where young pros in the ad industry will be introduced to brands' use of social media for promotion. Students will learn how clients can use social media and the latest digital tools to better serve their customers, leverage relationships, and create innovative campaigns. This is Billy's second quarter teaching this class.
Kaitlin, Billy, and I are thrilled be teaching some of this quarter's MAS students alongside industry colleagues from R/GA, Global Hue, Y&R, JWT, BBDO, and more. Miami Ad School students win more awards than any other ad school in the world, and we can't wait to see what they'll come up with.
